Where it started
James attended Kansas State University and took business classes. While at K-State, he wanted to build a business outside his day job. Campus life introduced him to the market for chapter products and the opportunity to build a business around jewelry.
That became Campus Carats: a company focused on necklaces featuring chapter letters and a fundraising process built around individual orders.
What Campus Carats does
Campus Carats prepares the chapter page, processes payments, supports buyers, handles group shipping, and pays the agreed chapter earnings. Chapters promote their sale and distribute the necklaces to buyers.
Before a sale opens, the required design and chapter approvals, inventory, and delivery details need to be confirmed. A product preview is a starting point for that conversation, not a promise that a sale is ready to launch.
